2024-2025 PSR
Children who participated in June's PSR Week continue this September with a one-hour Family Presentation. A Presentation will be offered each month through April, 2025. Parents and PSR youth must attend 3 of the eight scheduled presentations. Here are the upcoming Fall presentations:
Monday, September 16 at 6:30pm - The Holy Eucharist
Deacon Bill will give a talk on the Eucharist, show a brief DVD explanation, and lead the participants in a time of prayer, adoration and benediction.
Monday, October 7 at 6:30pm - St. Mary and the Saints
Participants will hear about the importance of the models of our faith life. Being the Feast of the Holy Rosary that day, families will be led outdoors to pray the rosary around the pond and Fatima Shrine.

Jon Leonetti, our Mission Speaker, will be with us Sunday the 10th and Monday the 11th. We encourage parishioners to attend both evenings. However, either evening fulfills the requirement for PSR families. Read about Jon at his website posted above at 'Save the Date'.
December, 2024 - Service Month
PSR Families will be invited to participate in a charitable service project to benefit fellow parishioners and/or our neighbors.
2024-2025 Sacramental Preparations
SACRAMENTAL PREPARATION
SUNDAY, DECEMBER 15 - Before they made their first Confession receiving pardon and peace in the Sacrament of Penance, the Congregation prayed for the children in PSR Level 2. They will now focus on deepening their relationship with Jesus and their understanding of His gift of the Eucharist. Their First Holy Communion will be on Sunday, May 4, 2025 at 10:30am.
SUNDAY, DECEMBER 15 - 35 of our registered 38 Candidates for CONFIRMATION attended their first preparation session. We discussed what it means to be a Candidate chosen by God. Any Candidate wants people to know who they are and what they will do, and gather support. Our Candidates created a poster identifying 3 things about themself and 1 thing they hope to get involved with after Confirmation. Attached are their Posters for Confirmation listed by first name. Please pray that their relationship with the Lord is deepened and their full initiation in the Church will be completed. The Candidates who understand and are open to God's call will be presented to the bishop, anointed with oil, and sealed with the Gifts of the Spirit.
Eucharistic Revival
St. Martin Parish is pleased to offer Catholics a place to be with the Lord in prayer, praise, and adoration. The Adoration Chapel is open daily. Pope Francis and the bishops of the United States are calling Catholics to revive their faith and devotion for Jesus Christ present in the Eucharist, the Blessed Sacrament. Visit Him Today.
Saint of the Day
In the Catholic Church we have a multitude of witnesses who have gone before us livng the Christian Life. They have done heroic acts of love including, for some of them, offering their life believing in Jesus Christ.
Our parish patron, St. Martin of Tours, is remembered every November 11th. Click the link below to be inspired by the man or woman whom the Church holds up as a model of the Christian life for us today. You too are called to be a saint. May today's Saint, pray for us!
