About Us: Crusaders for Christ
St. Martin’s youth group for 6-8th grade students started in 2006. We are a group which meets several times a year for retreats and social activities. The youth group previously went by the name of "PI" (the never-ending number representing our never-ending love for God) but now go by the name of "Crusaders for Christ."
Who is in the Crusaders for Christ group?
Any student in 6-8th grade who wants to share our faith with old and new friends, have great time learning about our faith, and socializing within a fun and relaxed setting can be part of our group. There are no dues, no mandatory attendance. Come to the activities you can…chances are you’ll want to come to as many as possible! Our students make up a super group who have formed great friendships.

SOZO and Crusaders for Christ Retreat SOZO and Crusaders for Christ are embarking on a combined retreat with Our Lady Help of Christians. This will be an overnight retreat currently scheduled for Friday, March 10. We will be leaving St. Martin's at 6 p.m. on Friday and are returning Sunday, March 11 at 7 p.m. Father Andy will be helping us learn about the hunger issue in our community and around the world. All students 6th-12th grade are welcome to sign up in the Gathering Area as well as start collecting food items for the food deficient. Please consider this important retreat during our Lenten time of offering. We will also need parent volunteers to help drive our group.
Shoebox Project This Lent the Crusaders for Christ youth group will once again participate in our Shoe Box Service Project. Last year our 6th-8th grade students filled 218 shoe boxes with both necessity items and small gifts for children in different age groups. These boexes were delivered to the Battered Women's Shelter and the Medina County Community Center. Every box was used! These gift boxes serve children ages 2-14 in Medina County. They are given throughout the year. There will be collection boxes in the Gathering Area on weekends from March 11 through April 2. During the week, you may also bring items to the Parish Office.
