About the Family Life Ministry
This blended ministry helps to empower the parish to develop a family perspective that reflects a Christian vision of the family along with helping to understand the family and its members as it develops through life, respect the diversity of family structures, and offers support to families in addressing their concerns. Family Life provides enhancements for Married Couples, Seniors, Bereaved, Step Families, Single and Parenting along with Separated and Divorced. It helps to promote a vision of family ministry that reflects the teachings of the Catholic Church and to share in the teaching ministry under the guidance of the Bishop of Cleveland.

Grief Share Grief Share, at St. Martin of Tours meets every Wednesday from 1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. GriefShare is for people grieving the death of a loved one. It may be hard for you to feel optimistic about the future right now. If you’ve lost a spouse, child, family member or friend, you’ve probably found there are not many people who understand the deep hurt you feel. This can be a confusing time when you feel isolated and have many questions about things you’ve never faced before. The Grief Share group will meet weekly to help you face these challenges and move toward rebuilding your life. You are welcome to begin attending the GriefShare group at any session. The support group discussion will focus on a video and then other group members will spend time as a support group, discussing what the video and what is going on currently in your life. All are Welcome, call Colene Conley at the office with any questions.
Yoga Classes Yoga classes take placeat 11 a.m. in the Parish Center meeting rooms. We will be using the Chair Yoga method. For anyone who has not experienced it, you don't know what you're missing! It is fabulous stretching, learning how to really breathe, tips on learning how to walk on ice and even break a potential fall. You will enjoy the wonderful community fellowship. Our certified instructor is Lisa Whittman from Our Lady of Help of Christians Parish in Litchfield. Please call Colene Conley in the church office with any questions.
